夕陽下的赤坎古鎮

赤坎古鎮始建於清順治年間，有 350 多年的歷史。現存最有特色的建築則是有「騎樓」的二、三層舊樓和街道，大多是 19 世紀末、20 世紀初由華僑出資興建。近年由數碼攝影帶起的熱潮令香港坊間多了一些週休短線廣東攝影團，赤坎古鎮便是其中一處目的地。赤坎古鎮內還有一個赤坎影視城，

How it was shot:
> Handheld
> Camera: Canon 5DII
> Lens: 17~40mm F4
> Aperture: F6.3
> Speed: 1/15s
> ISO: 400
How it was tone-mapped:
> Preparation: developed the RAW files with ACR mainly in order to reduce the CA & create 3 TIF images(+2, 0, -2ev)
> Topaz Denoise on the entire each image
> Resulting TIF images were then used as input to Photomatix
> Tone-mapping: Photomatix Pro 4.0 (Detail Enhancer)
How it was post-processed:
> Post-processing was done in Photoshop
> Topaz Adjust on the entire image to get back the colors and the details
> Topaz Infocus on the entire image for sharpening
> Levels layer on the sky (contrast)
> Saturation layer on the sky
> Levels layer on the buildings
> Saturation layer on the buildings(de-saturation, red)
> Levels layer on the water (contrast)
> Saturation layer on the water(de-saturation)
> Global levels layer for selective contrast
> Global saturation layer (master)
> Sharpening using the high-pass filter
